About Me~

My name is Thomas Nguyen. I'm a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). My major is East Asian Languages and Cultures, as well as Social Work. I have been studying Mandarin Chinese for three years now and hopefully spending time in China will show me how much I've actually learned! I'm from Chicago, IL (actually from the city and not a nearby suburb!) and I've lived in Chicago my whole life, aside from when I moved to Champaign for college. I'm Vietnamese and speak it natively. In my spare time, I love to read all kinds of stories, surfing the interwebs for funny or creative videos on youtube, and play video games with my equally awesome friends. My favorite TV show is Teen Wolf, and if you watch it, we're automatically best friends. If you haven't figured out by now from my blog, I enjoy different fashion trends and music styles from Asia. Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China. Now if only I could afford to buy all the great things while I'm there....
